I've been interested in old tractors all my like. Now I finally have one, along with tons of questions. My WD45 has 2, 12" - 14" bars in the back connected to hydraulic cylinders. These must be used for lifting, right? Can I connect three point hitch implements to my tractor? Am I limited to pull-type implements only?

My after market 3-point uses these arms to lift. It cost about $300 from T.H.E. Company in IA.

Dan, buy an operators manual from Sandy Lake Implements for $7.00. See the previous posts on this board for phone numbers. They have tons of stuff for WD's and they are quick. The arms you are referring to are for the snap coupler system that A/C patented. It can be converted to a catagory 1 three point hitch system. I've got my eye on one right now for my WD but I don't have the $425 for a new one just yet. This will make your tractor more usable and sellable. My 2 cents.
