evening dick just wondering with all those tractors laying around if ya know what the bolt pattern and spread are for a CA flywheel?
gotta an old C possibly coming my way with a locked up motor, and i may do some expermenting with a CA motor and a WD flywheel. i figure if i have to add a plate between the bellhousing and the block no biggy, as well as milling the bolt pattern in the flywheel. any thoughts on the matter?

The bolt pattern is the same. No changes to do from the B, C, or CA. Just bolt her up.

i know the bell housing bolt patterns are the same i am wondering how much milling i'd have to do on the flywheel? also if i'd have to shave the inside of the bell housing to accomidate the WD flywheel. i was thinking if i shave it i could run front frame rails like the D14's had. the spacer was for getting the clearence between the clutch and the throw out bearing where it belongs. i'm trying to add more inertia to this engine like some guys do to the deere's by adding a heavier flywheel. the C flywheel weighs under half as much as the WD flywheel does and i just thought this might work.
think about it for a few days and see if it makes sense to you. i've added my email addy if you want to contact me direct. thanks, B
