I just purchased a planter with a snap coupler hitch, adjustable row spaceing, and fiberglass fertilizer bins(one broken but repairable) in relitivly good condition for $250. Folks in the know tell me the're rare. Good buy? Can anyone tell me the approx. year or years these were made and where I might find a manual? Im also looking for a list of available attachments/implements for WD/WD45's. Im new to AC (recently got a 1952 WD wide front W/snap coupler-great old tractor! Now Im looking for a 45) I plan on using this old stuff to farm and I'd like to use the original equipment. Any help will be greatly appreciated and hopefully reciprocated.

I'm envious! Seriously, the best thing to do is check the classifieds, and also if you have some used equipment dealers, check with them, and auctions, too, can be a good place. I know down here in central Indiana, you still see some snap-coupler implements, particularly plows. We've got a WD-45, and at one time, we had a disc, 3-bottom plow, and 4-row cultivators that were all snap-couplers. We still have a #7 sickle mower that we use on roadsides every summer. Good luck.

Did you ever find out the model number of your two row planter? I also just got one but it is set up for a 3-point hitch. I need some different corn plates to plant different size sweet corn seed.
Wonder if there was ever a fert box for that unit?
Thanks

Chuck
