How much does one of the rear wheel weights for a WD
weigh?
How do they mount to the wheel?
The reason i'm asking is because I live in Michigan
and need to use it to plow my driveway and last time
I used it, the wheels tended to spin when I went uphill.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I live in MI and use a D14 AC with a rear blade to plow snow and to get enough traction I had to use calcium cloride in the tires, wheel weights, and chains. This tractor now goes through snow that I wouldn't have dreamed of before. If you have a front blade snow is much easier to plow and you may be able to use an implement on the rear for weight. Wheel weights can cost big $$ if you go to a salvage yard or dealer. Happy Plowing!

You have to PLOW your driveway with a tractor? Thank God I live in the Pacific Northwest. It is sunny today and 45 degrees. The trees are green year round. We get frost on the windshield maybe a dozen times a year. If it gets any worse you might consider an AC Dozer. Good luck on your wheel weights.

I have tire chains that work well. I don't think weights will help much in snow.

Rear wheel weights are 150 lbs each and attach with a 3/4 in bolts about 6 in long. A couple sets will help a lot- they cost about $50 a pair around here. Put on your hernia belt before lifting!!
