Hi all, I'm getting a 5030 off the neighbor. Has bucket and everything but has been sitting out side and is in need of a starter. This is a diesel right? I looked at it a couple years ago, but dont remember much, could somebody refresh me with some specs? I plan on getting it towed out of its spot tommorow. I will update this as soon as I get it. Cant wait to be a proud AC owner!

AC 5030 26 HP Toyosha of japan mfg.
My 1980 model runs well. It pops out of 1st and 3rd gear. I've read of parts availability problems. I think the archives here had a reference to a Co. in Kansas that refurbishes starters. I saw a search for exhast manifold some time back. I use mine with a 3 pt. finish mower, 3pt scoop, plow, scrapper blade, and a 3pt box for tractor rides. I bought a parts and a service manual. If you buy beware of copy quality. The photos in mine are of limited value. The same tractor was sold as Simplicity 9523 or 9528. Some parts must cross to Hinomoto as well. I haven't needed to buy anything but filters. They seem over priced at Agco dealers.

Thanks for the info. Are you happy with it? I really like this one, after some work it will be great. How many hours you got on yours? this one has 1161, is that good or bad?

Mike
