Has anybody used Por-15 paints? They have a primer
process that is supposed to stop rust permanently.
Also have a line of enamels called "Hardnose" that
are supposed to be super tough. I was wondering how close their orange is to AC orange. If you want to check it out, the web site is

Mark,

Por-15 in my opinion is an excellent product. I use it in my automotive restoration business. The product is made in Morristown, N.J. which is about 15 minutes from me here in Rockaway, N.J. Best part about it is you can paint over it with most automotive paints. Hope this helps.. Steve

Have also used POR-15 for last 10 years. Have always had better luck with the black, than the clear and silver. Make sure you buy their POR-15 Thinner, nothing else will get it off of your skin! Even then, you have to get it while it is still wet! Make sure you clean the spray gun IMMEDIATELY! It can be painted over, but you need to get your primer on top of the POR-15 while the POR-15 is still slightly tacky. If it hardens completely, the paint does not stick to it very good.
