I have two 1938 AC WC's. Both are unstyled, these two tractors shouldn't have this many differneces. Can anyone help? One tractor has a whole crank and the other just has the piece for the crank. Another difference is, the way the springs are to attach the seat are different. Also the oil fill/check on the rear differentials are of different apperances. I don't know why these are so different. Can anyone help?

Early WC's came with a one piece crank, often this would get caught in a fence or jammed into something and bent.An easy fix was to cut the shaft off, install a roll-pin and use a crank from a styled WC or WD. As far as the seat goes I've seen all kinds of things.I'm working on a 1934 WC that I got from the original owner and it had circular metal rings clamped over a piece of leather for a seat. The dif. plugs may have been changed at some time or another also. ct
