Allis 190's mostly all used a TRW (Thompson) turbo. Thompson later turned into Rajay. If you get a new Thompson replacment turbo, it will be a Rajay & fit right on. The latest 190's used AirResearch turbos (and all 200's). The AirResearch will fit on a Thompson equipped 190, if you use the correct (like from a 200) oil pressure line, oil drain line, pipe from compressor to intake manifold, etc. The exhaust elbows are both the same. When the 70 series tractors were made, Allis Chalmers used both Rajay & AirResearch turbos on the same models, on the same day. This created competition with turbo manufacturers & a better position for Allis.
