Manual does not show thermostat or housing.Need to find good housing[not cast]and thermostat,also, what temperature thermostat. Thanks WILL

I think the ford guys can help, some of them (the tractors that is) have the thermostat in the radiator hose with just a hose clamp to hold it is position. An easy way to get a thermostat without having to find housings and all. As for temp, I think 190 would be good. That's about what is recomended for WDs.

A housing off of a WD will work just fine. It's been a few days since I looked at my manual, but the early WC's had a self contained thermostat, so all that bolted to the head was a manifold with an end for a radiator hose. If you get a housing off of a WD or later WC, it will bolt right up. As for temp, I'm not sure, I just used whatever my AC dealer gave me.

I have a Gabriel thermostat in my hand right now for a WC Part No G87 opening temerature is 160 degrees
