I am about to re-ring my Allis B engine (3 3/8" bore) and realised that I don't know the official ring gap clearances. If someone could please let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Sorry!

QQ What is the best way to orientate the ring gaps when I reassemble? (I usually just place each gap oppositely)

checking ring gap is wise. I found my rings were waaaaay to big. I had received a kit for the TISCO 3-7/16 pistons instead of the 3-3/8 stock AC pistons. Norm at Norms Toys was a lot of help in figuring it out and helping me with the return.

The ring gap is .007 to .014 . I start at the bottom and turn each ring gap about 30 deg. clock ways from the ring gap below. That is not in carved stone. You just must keep the compression from escaping through the ring gap from the firing chamber to the pan.
