I have a '34 WC that is fairly complete, but no good tires or wheels. It does not run. I also have a crankshaft, M&W pistons and sleeves from a WD45, along with a starter, flywheel and bellhousing. I know it is fairly common to put WD or D-17 innards in a WC block to make it a strong antique puller. However, a book I read says that the crankpin diameter was increased in 1935, which means the WD45 crank may not work in my '34 model. If so, should I just restore it and keep it stock? Is a low-numbered '34 worth more than a later unstyled WC in similar condition?

I think that all low serial numbered tractors are worth more. You can not put a D-17 crank in a WC block. If I were you, I would fix it up original. You could get you a 1937 or 1938 WC and pull in the same class as the 1934.
