I just recently purchased a 1941 a-c model B and it came with a little 4' disc. It starts to sound like it's struggling, then it just dies on me. I don't know much about it, but a neighbor told me that it seems like it's running rich, does this make sense? What can I do?

It could be that it is running rich, that is a good guess. It can be fixed with some adjustments to the carb. I think there is a screw that can be backed out or in for the mix of air to gas. If you go to far and thin it out to much the tractor will "starve out" and stop. Give it a try if that doesn't help let us know i will try to think of any other help. ED

There are two screws on the carb. one on the top that requires a flat screwdriver, and there's one on the bottom that is a 'wing-nut' type screw. What does that one do?
