Hi all, I was looking at my AC B's hydraulic pump today and I think the guy that had it before the guy that I got it from messed up the pump, because it dosen't work right. And I was wondering? Would it be possable for someone to post a picture of the AC B hydraulic pump from the right rear tire? Because I need to know which screw is the outlet connection. And also, where can I find the relief valve parts? Because right now all my hydraulic's are comeing out where the relief valve is supposed to be! And also, How are the control plate and friction plate supposed to be? And also, where is the control rod supposed to be? I really wish this haden't been fooled with:) Sorry for all the questions and the long post. Thanks, TractorMike

my b pump was fooled with too.Does your fluid come from the hole from the side closest to the rear of the tractor kindof on the side. if it does I think your tractor might be configured to use one cylinder.and bypassing the three way valve. I will look for a picture.

Mike, Mark, i email you a picture of the pump from the service book. the hose comes out the back of the pump, at a slight angle toward the right rear wheel. the two fittings on the top are check valves, not pressure out ports. to the far left of the picture you see two rollers on a rocker arm. these run off an internal cam shaft arrangement and the rockers "pump" up and down like rocker arms on an engine, as the rear PTO shaft turns. when installed, you can not see these rocker arms from the outside. to the far light you see the engagement are amd plate. there are two plates laying on top of each other. one is spring loaded and has a set screw to adjust the engagement and "drop" speed. this dont show a real good picture of this area. If you need more, maybe i can get a digital camara photo.

Steve,I just got in from working on my tractor and my hydraulic pump still dosen't want to work right. In the picture you sent me, Does #6 and all the componets need to be in the pump for it to work right? Because right now is seems like all the pump does is push the hydraulic cylinder up. It also seems like I don't have any "drop". I guess I need to go and work on it some more. Thanks, TractorMike

Mike, all the parts need to be in the valve, and fitting tight on the seat with spring loaded to work right. this is a two plunger pump, remember the two cam lobes? think of it as a two cylinder engine with intake and exhaust valves on each, leave out a valve and the motor dont run too good. i think you need to get a service manual or take the pump to someone who rebuilds them. see www.binderbook.com for a book

Markp, I think that it where the fluid it supposed to come from, but right now it is coming from where the relief valve plug is supposed to be. If you put the pump in the lower position, shouldn't there not be fluid coming from the pump? Because right now if I put the pump in the lower position the fluid comes out slower and if I put the pump in the raise position the fluid comes out faster. I'll get to play with it some more tomorrow. Thanks,TractorMike
