Looking at an AC 190 XT gas, WFE, 3 point. Everything is in good condition. What are the issues with this model to look for when buying? Looking for a range. Thank you.

The 190XT was made from 1965-71 Good Condition pricing 4070.00-4510.00. Believe they had problems with 3rd gear hi range kicking out of gear on downgrade.

If its an XT, find out if it has the original rear end, or updates. Earlier ones had D19 rear, and did not stand up to heavier hp on field use. Not sure, but updates might be heavier planetaries, axles. XT gas might be a rarity, most were diesel. Independent pto was an option, not standard (dumb move on part of AC, not standard). Still, a good tractor, and many around. Not sure on price range, but maybe 4-5000? Really depends on condition, tires, and options.

Do check to make sure it stays in third down a grade , this is also true of the 200 series
