I have a 185 Diesel No Manual yet. This is my first Allis. Need to put Battery in it, there isn't one in it now. I have a few question about the battery configuration.

1.What voltage 12 or 24?

2. Pos or Neg ground? I assume neg ground.

3.Where does the ground cable attach to the frame?

It has cable from the starter to Battery compartment. But, the Cable to Frame is missing.

Thanks

If you still need a operators manual give me a email reply as I know we have a copy or two at work to sell.

12 volt, uses two batteries hooked in parallel configuration (one might have been standard but two would work better), negative ground like all alternater equipped machines, and I believe the ground is just hooked up to a bolt inside the battery box but I can't quite remember. Any solid connection to the tractor would work for the ground.
