Just picked up a 1935 WC. this is my first venture into the antique tractor hobby. Here's the problem. When i got the tractor the mag (a Fairbanks R4V (yeppers an original)) had been removed and supposedly rebuilt bit never put back on. When i put it on NOTHING! i took it off again. i pulled the top off and from what i can see i believe it is internally out of time. the contacts don't line up with the towers. any help would be appreciated. i know next to nothing about mag systems. i've been a diesel mechanic for over 10 yrs. so i'm not totally lost when it comes to mechanical things. everything i've seen or read on the board seems to deal with the newer mags. thanks all.
