D12 good cond., what is it worth? What is HP, LPTO, where is ser. # ? Any other info app., i.e. weak points, good & bad features, correct tire size. I didn't mean to swear on your board, but I am a bit of a "ford guy", but did own D14 for awhile. Thank you. BURT.

the smaller D series is somewhat of a collectors tractor, so the price is above average. one needing work in probalby $2500. a nice one is pushing $4000. they command a lot more $$$ than a WD or 45 in similar condition, (kind of like the fords). They are very nice little tractors, the D10, D12 took the place of the B, C,Ca after 1960 for several years. Had better hydraulics, 12 volt generators, some had 3 points or the ALLIS 2 pt lift. Soome like to jump out of gear after being run hard for 25 years, might check that. The B was about 20 HP and the CA was about 25. The D12 is at the upper end of that. Serial number is on the bell housing left side, just behind motor flange.
