I have an AC 5040 that I just changed fluid and filter and at first hydraulic lifted slowly I bled lines, it is full and the more I messed with it, it would not lift at all Any suggestions appreciated. Is it possible I have wrong weight hydraulic fluid? I am concerned I may have ruined the pump.

I don't know how long you have run it with no flow, but usually a few minutes won't do damage provided there was oil moving through it before its "service". I have had this happen to me, and usually try to take one of the lines off the pump and fill it with the heaviest oil I can, or pack the gears with vaseline to make it prime instantly. Also, engine oil treatment (honey) works well too. Make sure the gears are coated with whatever you use, and it should prime almost instantly. I also leave the outlet line loose so that any air can escape. Did you remove the suction screen in the inlet tube and clean it? Good luck.
