Dad purchased a CA three weeks ago. Engine had a little knock in it. Mild today and he took the valve cover off and found one bend rod and a stuck valve. He rapped on it with a hammer, nothing. I used a drawbar pin and hammer and it went down some. Solution=remove the head? Plan to load it up and haul it to his town garage tomorrow. Also has a small growl in the hydraulics/hand clutch area. Thanks in advance for the help.

May I introduce you to the miracle product for valves, Marvel Mystery Oil. Its good for a host of "penetrating" needs but is made for valves. Squirt it around the valve and tomorrow, it will repond to gentle tapping, it not squirt it again. Works good in the fuel of an old engine too. Available at auto parts stores and your local Wal-Mart.
