3 pt lift drifting

I have purchased a WD with a hydraulic 3 pt hitch. It came with a pull behind mower, and I seem to be having a problem with the hyd drifting up. Is there a way to correct this, or is it drifting because there isn't a lot of weight on the draw bar? The control lever itself isn't moving, I tried clamping the lever in position to make sure it wasn't vibrating up, but the drawbar still drifts up. It will go back to its proper position if I stand on it, or lower the control lever a bit.

I, too, have a WD and was wondering if those adjustments of which you speak will just eliminate the drifting or will the lift be set at one position and not be moveable?

Purchase an owners manual for the tractor. The manual has 4 1/2 pages of instruction, with pictures, on how to set up the hydraulic system.

Set up instructions are not very complicated. However, there are four adjusting screws.

There was a decal showing how to set up the hydraulic system on the right side of the battery box.

Owners manuals are available at the top of this forum.
