I just bought a model B with the hydralics not working. I took off the pump and found the pistons froze up. Looks like it would be fine if I could get them freed up but can't come up with a way to excercize them. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the tip Kevin. I soaked it but then got an idea. I took one of the small plugs on the backside of the pistons out and screwed my grease gun hose into it and pumped. I filled it full of heavy grease and the pistons popped free. I cleaned out the grease as best I could and the fresh fluid washed out the rest. Now it works just fine. Half the time solenoid doesn't push the gear on the starter far enough to fully engage the flywheel and it chatters. Any one have a suggestion?

Keven, I won't be able to get back to it for a couple of weeks but will let you know how it works then.
