I am rebuilding a AC Model b and am trying to put the wick into the flywheel end of the crankshaft that provides lubrication to the pilot bushing. Does anyone have any words of advice or experience.
Thanks,
Bill

I have the same problem. Wish someone who has replaced this wick would respond. Thanks.

This must be a classic case of "Misery Loves Company". Wish someone would respond also. I am going to spend the weekend looking for "the right size hammer" to accomplish this task and will let you know how it turns out.

D. A. Thanks for the response. However, I am not familiar with the oillite bushing that you talk about. Can you tell me more, how to or where I can obtain one.
Thanks,
Bill

If you could make an oillite bushing for the crank you wouldn"t need to lub it then you could plug the passageway and eliminate the wick and the future problem with oil on the clutch.
