I got a new piston. I installed the new pistons with new rings and I think everything is good. However how much force should be required to turn the engine over with new rings no head on it? I have to really turn pretty hard to get the pistons to move. Is this normal after new rings are installed? Thanks for the help
Andrew

you should have a little oil on the rings to make them slide alittle better in the bore. did you tighten the connecting rod cap and check clearances? if the motor turned over easy before installing the last piston, loosen up the rod cap bolts 1 turn each and try to rotate the motor. is the drag in the piston or the bearing?
