I finally tore my wd45 down to put rings in it. After we pulled the old rings off,we noticed that the oil rings were too wide. Is it possible that those are wd pistons? I have a stuck wd engine. It has flat top pistons. The WD45 hasconcave tops. The guy at the parts house looked up the wd rings and they seem to have the right measurements. So the question is,what kind of pistons do i have? thanks nation

Give me the ring width you need and the bore of the cyl. How many rings on the piston? If you measure piston measure the skirt 90 deg to the pin.Let me know if any numbers on piston. I will identify the ring set up and tell you where you can get them.email is open. Earl In Illinois

The wd and wd45 have the same bore 4in. As for the ring width I can't tell you. The concave piston is most likely a powercrater.
