Looking for any info on Thomson High Crop variants of AC (or other makes) - particularly number of tractors converted and any serial number and configuration info. I have the West Allis factory high crop list, but assume these are unrelated to the Thomsons except that Norm Swinford's listing of UC's includes the Thomson UCs, though I've seen a number with higher 5 digit s/n and have some info on those. Mostly looking for info on WC, WD, WD45 & D17 conversions.

Magneto question in reply to ACEd, 03-16-2005 06:01:35
I am in need of a replacement magnetoon my 1948 Allis "B" that Ibought last fall. It has had the original Fairbanks Morse "FMK" type mag. that some parts are no longer available. I am looking for a Fairbanks Morse "FMB" or "FMJ" series mag that I can put right back on it. I would like to keep the tractor as original as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
