I am getting quite a bit of diesel fuel in the engine crankcase, changed the lip seals in the injection pump but the problem still remains, the brass bushing in the injection pump where the seals ride seem to have a wear spot in it, could that be the problem ,if so is thast brass bushing replacable? or is it something else. { roosa master pump.}

Ray: I agree with Jim that the bushing needs to be replaced. While you have the pump off, be sure to inspect the pump drive shaft for a possible crack. The shaft has a hollow bore for a spring and plunger and if there is a crack it will allow fuel to enter the engine through the bore in the shaft. I have seen this happen one time in my 23 years of working on Allis tractors, so it is not likely but it is worth checking. Be very careful when you install the pump that you don't fold the first seal back and allow fuel to get into the engine again. Good luck. Gordon

If there is any grove in the bushing it needs to be replaced.

I am overhauling a 190 allis and I was wondering about any problems known with those 301cui engines
