Just for you, I just steppe dout into my garage with mi digital camera. Here's the pic of my v-belt belt pulley... left side.. right above the axle. You can see the linkage for the pto engage lever. Inthis section the hydro pump and pump lever and valve also sets..

hope this helps

Tristan, the first G was built in 1948, The last was built in 1955 with most being built in 1948 and 1949 (23000 of the total of 29,976). As Den says, the belt pulley was an option. Later models also could also be purchased with hydraulics.

The only pto would be a belt pully assembly on the left side of the tractor in line with the torque tube and behind the gas tank. This was not installed on all G's. It had a flat belt pulley on it but it was also able to have a couple of different V belt pulleys installed to run a sickle mower and belly mower. I have a good belt pully assembly with flat belt for sale. Den
