Temp gauge climbs to the green as soon a engine is started, when you rev up engine temp gauge goes up into red, then if you idle gauge goes back down to green. Engine really isn't running hot. We've replaced a senor, that didn't help. Wha's wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check the voltage at the battery when the engine is running. If the pointer on the temp gauge is going up and down with engine speed, I suspect the voltage regulator is not working correctly. You should see 13.5 to 14.5 volts with the engine running. Hope this helps. Brian
