Three Allis U's sitting in a row. next to one is a tractor that looks really close, to being a U, but is about 1/4 larger. It does not have a flathead, the plugs go into the head on the right side (as you sit on it) like a normal engine. The manifold is on the left. I can't get behind it to look for a SN. It has a little diamond logo on the radiator. Another thing, the steering does not go down the side, like an E. All the way around it is just bigger than a U. Oh yeah, you cannot see the bottom of the jugs on the block,on the engine, like you can on a U. ANY help would be appreciated. AndyC

The only thing I can think of that it might be is a UC with the later overhead valve UM engine???

Could be a UC. Click on Tractor Photos under Galleries on left of this page. Find the search block. Plug in Allis UC, They are exact examples but may help identify.
