There is one on E-bay. A white top. The seller will be parting if not sold. The pictures don't look so bad. We had a neighbor that had one and used it for years. Like the others said if the windrow was right it worked well. I always thought they would be a pain to mow-away. Here is the Item number in case the link won't work...Semper-Fi

Your baler is a 1954 model. Regardless of what old says, the Rotobaler was ahead of it's time. Yes they can be a challenge to keep running proprly, but there are a few tricks of the trade that only an experienced operator and several thousand bales can teach you.

You can get a reprint of the setup and operator manual from the folks that run the allis chalmers forum on another network.

Yes they where ahead of there time and they paved the way for the big round balers of today. I just never liked the one I had because it would clog up all the time, or put out ice cream cone bales. I used it one season and traded it off for a JD-14T square baler.

Key thing to making a good Rotobale is the windrow. Needs to be two curls, side by side, slightly wider than the finished bale. Dad used to do custom baling- a neighbor would rake small windrows for a square baler, then see Dad about baling if the other guy could not show up. Dad always had him rake two of them together so he could bale the hay. Taught us kids how to rake hay for the AC- grumbled if they got too wide or narrow, but the results were evident. He ran that baler from '48 til '64, had only two breakdowns, same part- a cast piece that held the arms in place. Had to get it welded each time. Very dependable product, but if you pull the release rope to squash more hay into the chamber, belts break.

Hope you didn't pay much for them. You couldn't give me one, had nothing but trouble with the one I had. But with that said they do ok if you can get every thing just right but if you don't they aren't fun to run.
