Ok got the big PTO shaft out, and had to drop the whole housing because the bearing cage won't come off due to the nuts in the way. So now I can't figure out how to get the oil seal and bearing cup out of the bearing cage. Sorry to be a pain but your the only one who want to give me any help. Thanks again

After unscrewing the bearing cage from the housing, you should be able to knock out the oil seal towards the rear. Use sealer on outer diameter of new seal when reinstalling. Buy yourself a Parts Manual and also a Service Manual for your tractor. They have helped me tons since I am new to tractors! They will answer about 95% of your questions. Take care--Ray

HI Forum, On this topic:

Do anyone have any part numbers for the bearing on the PTO shalf? Do you have any on hand that are new? Is there any way to repack them? Also any seals for them. Anyone interrested in the western PA area we are redoing some. We are putting new ends on old scrap ones (end toward gear box). Cost would be fair, the guys is 85 years young and maybe he would do it for you, I think he has enough extra tool grade steel to do about 10 or so.

Have A Good One !! Thanks !! Teddy
