I am looking for some information on the value of an AC D-14. What I know about the tractor: narrow front, garaged for the past 6-8 years (started a couple of times during this time period), never had an engine overhaul, tires are fair, there is at least one engine oil leak (source unknown), battery replaced within the past 5 years but not currently charged, snap coupler hitch system, tin generally in good shape. The tractor runs. Any advice on what this tractor is worth would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it would top out at about $2500, especially with a narrow front. New tires are expensive, if you are going to need them take off about 65% of what new ones will cost. Make sure as best you can that the engine is ok and not burning a lot of oil or knocking. That is a $500 deduction in my book. Check and make sure the transmission is good and that the tractor doesn't jump out of gear. I'd take $1000 off, if it did. How bad are the rear rims rusted, will they have to be replaced? Deduct 80% of new rim cost if you are going to have to replace them. It's not hard to put way more money into one than you can ever expect to get out of it, but they are always worth a fair amount just for parts.
