I recently acquired an AC 2 bottom plow, which is missing a coulter. I have the arm for the coulter I recently acquired an AC 2 bottom plow. (Which is missing a coulter) I have the arm for the coulter and I think I have located a coulter to fit. Where do I find a serial number on the plow? I bought this plow to use on my CA. I was able to hook it up to move it, but I know this is not correct. (See my attempt in the picture.) Does anyone have a close up picture of how this is supposed to connect? Or a few pages out of a manual that can help me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve in S. IL

THe CA with out the Snap coupler that that plow was designed for has lift arms that are 6 or 8 inches longer.

your plow is just called "ca pick-up plow"
the model you have was designed for the pin connector under ther tractor, before snap coupler.
the lift arms of the older ca tractors have two holes for the u shaped pin (lift pin) on the bracket. the pin comes out and the bracket(yoke) lays flat on the bottom of the arms, and the u pin inserts into both holes. i have the manual, but it doesn't have any good pictures.Bob

This is just a wild guess, since I don't recognize the links you are using to attach the plow- I just figured there was a spring latch like on the WD45 plows. I see a flat surface on the right side mount, (top side). Similar flat might be on the bottom side of the left mounting. Question is- there is another hole midway on the mounting- if you attach the mount to the underside of the lift arm, flat would be underneath, and put the bolt in the middle hole- wouldn't it raise the plow higher?

AC plows don't have serial numbers. As best I can tell, you have a 50 series plow, called a 52 if it has 2 bottoms. The 50 series has the beam running perpendicular to the frame while the newer 60 and 70 series has the beam slanted forward. I believe the coulters are pretty much interchangeable from one plow to another.
