Any ideas on splitting the huydraulics on a 54 WD45, what I want to do is to seperate the front end loader from the 2 point hitch, also I am going to put a ram on the bucket and I have been told that I need to do that from the hydraulic pump??
Thanks
Al

Al, to get this to work, don't you need to have the lever by the steering wheel in the lift position at all times that you need hydraulics? Seems like a great fix. You have one valve for the lift arms in the back and one valve for the loader in front. By adding a third valve, you could add hydraulics to the bucket (done this on two tractors - Ford 9N and 971). I've always thought this was possible with the WD/WD-45 but never had the reason to try it. EXCELLENT!

yes you keep the wd45 pump lever up all the time and it pumps in a circle with no pressure. When you activate a new valve the fluid goes down that hose and builds pressure. A WD pump runs all the time anyway it just has a internal bypass the lever by the steering wheel just opens the orginal valve to send the fluid down the hose, in my case it goes back to the drain plug.
