I have just obtained an allis B-C sickle. I am in need of some parts. Does anyone know where to get any? I also need a sketch or drawing of the Swath and other wood pieces so I can remake them. What type of wood were they made of. I am trying to make it original. Thanks

Some of the common wear parts are still available from AGCO (or were a few years ago). However, be prepared to pay an excessive price. I suspect that most non-wear parts are only available used, from donor machines. Or try to make something that will perform the same function as the missing part. Regarding the swathboard: In addition to Old's post, I also have some info and a drawing available here.

Drop me an e-mail and I have both the manual which I may have sent you already, don't remember if I sent it to you or some one else. I also have a picture of the board and how to make it, with measurements etc. As far as parts some can be had at AGCO but others will either have to be made of found off a broken one
