What is the correct length for the bolts that attach the front wheels to the front rims? Are they originally a square head bolt or a conventional hex headed bolt? The Parts Book does not show a lock washer being used. Is this correct or an oversight? Thanks, AWB

Never seen a wheel on the front of an Allis tractor with lock nuts on the wheel to hub. The G certainly does not have locknuts. As far as length, I think they are 3/4". They are long enough if there are enough threads for the end of the stud to protrude from the inside of the hub.

They were square headed, McMaster-carr should have them if you can't find local.
3/4 sounds about right, I'd go measure for you but mama said no more tractors or working in the shop until after Christmas

Whoops, I'd forgot about the way those wheels are done. Yes, The bolts are square but my nuts were hex. And, yes, they have lockwashers. Not sure about length.
