What should I expect to pay for a Allis Chalmers 1948 WC that runs Excellent has just been given a three layer coat of PO 1 paint. Rebuilt Carb and new set of decals that have not been put on? This tractor needs a little detailing and a new set of tires. Please let me know the price range I should pay.

Most WC's in good shape bring around $800-$1200. They don't bring as much as newer models because they don't have a 3pt,snap-coupler,hydraulics,etc...They have a little less hp than the wd's.
You can easily wrap up $450 in new rear tires and $100 in new front tire and another $75 or so in tubes.

I would think that with a new set of tires that about $1800 or $2000 would be a fair price.
