Hello
I have a chance to pick up a allis for a pretty good price but I am not sure where to to look for the ID tag. I have a number off the block DH 170 and it has a wide front and it also comes with a loader but its missing the hood. Oh the owner says it 1950.
Thanks Shaggy

Could be a number of differant ones. Look in my web site and you might be able to narrow it down some. If its a WD the number is on the rear end houseing left side under the brake cover and if a C or B its by the shifter

It looks more like the WD or the 45. It has a frame like the WD and it has 28's on the back. I am going to dig into it a little deeper tomorrow. Do you think it worth $200 or under? It might come home in the next couple of weekends.

$200 is scrap price for one. The serail number will be on the left rear end houseing just below the brake cover. A few other things to look at is. If it has a plate that bolts on to the right hand side of the engine then the engine is a WD if no plate the engine is a WD45 engine. Either one will bolt in to either tractor. Also look at the shifter. If it has a slite curve to it then its a WD45 tranny or a very late WD tranny . If the tires and wheels are any good at all they are worth the $200 your talking about.

Not to mention... in reply to old, 02-10-2007 19:26:51
The wide front is worth $400 to $500 and the loeader is worth probably $200. If it runs and doesn't need rims or rubber it's probably worth $1000 to $1500.
