The bolt spacing to the manifold is different between B, C, & CA, and the WC, WD. I think the throttle shaft is different too. BUT-- you might try useing Zenith/Zenith, or Marvel/Marvel, and swap the bottom section from the W carb to the top section of a B/C carb and using the air jet from thr top of the W carb in the B/C carb top. And keep the venturi that belongs to the bottom section.

No, you need a carb from a similar size engine like the C or CA.

I was interested beacuse I have a B that I built to pull and it seems to run out of gas. and I was think ing that I could run a bigger carb on there. The engine is bored and I have it running 10% of rated RPM. I was alos told that the very early B's I have a 38 came with a smaller carb than the latter ones?? So maybe I just need a latter carb? any thoughts are most welcome and helpful.

Thank you

Andrew

You might drill out the main jet some. On most of the B/Cs I have messed with they didn't have an adjustable main jet and that can cause a problem when your doing what you are doing.
