Where can I get a gasket for a sediment bowl? Did a d-15 series 2 have a top to the battery box?

I stopped in at a napa store and the guys with the waxed hair did not even know what a sediment bowl was.

Anyway, I stopped in at a case international dealer and told them I wanted one for a Farmal M. It fit the D 15 II like a glove.

The screen and gasket that fits the WC, WD, B, C, CA, are available thru NAPA in their Balkamp line. I don't know for sure if same size on D series, as they are too new for me.

I called around and no one in this area (Virginia) had a gasket and some didn't know what I was talking about. The NAPA store was one of them. I made my own. I wanted to start this tractor after 6 months working on it. I got about 2 k in the engine. It started right up had a few leaks like the raditor, I guess all that dirt was keeping it from leaking. She runs good, half of her is painted. Now I get to work on the other half the rear end. Thanks to all who responded.

I make my own with a pair of sissors and a sheet of gasket material, but you should be able to buy them at most auto parts stores, Agco dealers or from several parts catalogs.

I get all my sediment bowl gaskets from my local O'reilly's auto parts store. Should be the same as on a WD, WD45 and D-17, which all use the common size gasket. Shoot when I buy them I buy the store out so I have spares on hand at all times.
