I am looking to buy a CA for my daughter to use on her acreage. I am sure that it has a snap coupler hich similar to my WD-45 but does it have live power? Would anyone have implements for this such as a sickle bar mower and cultivators?

Thank you

A mid-mount sickle mower made for a C or B will not fit a CA

The hand clutch is between the two halves of one axel and allows the tractor to stop and power to continue to the hyd and pto. Nearly the same as the WD45. I have a mounted plow, tandem disk, and bar mower, as well as a cultivator for mine. The rear mounted barmower fits better on the WD but have had it on the CA.

(Most) CA's have the hand clutch. I take it that is what you mean by live power. Real live power like my old Olivers you can stop with the foot clutch, change gears, back up and it does not affect the operation of the mower, baler, combine or what ever you have hooked to the power takeoff.

Dick I didn't know you where an oliver man also. Hard to beat and old oliver isn't it. I just haven't noticed you down in the oliver forum so I didn't know you had them. But of course most olivers don't need much TLC they just keep on going and going

First tractor I worked in the field was an Allis C. Some where in the 1940's. My uncle was an Oliver dealer so we had Olivers on the farm from the 1940's on. I have 7 Oliver 77's, One 88, Three 66's, Three 1850's, The 1650. A 70 and two 60 parts tractors. third party image

Looks like you might fall off the back of that with it not having a seat. What is it?? I know its not an HG or OC-3 since it has a valve in head engine in it
