7000 series cabs were the quietest on the market at the time. The black belly 7000 has some advantages over thye maroon belly such as a wet master clutch. The black belly 7000 was only produced for a year then the 7010 came out so it might be hard to find and the 7010 was a better tractor anyhow. A friend of mine has 2 maroon belly 7000's and he loves them and has put a ton of hours on them. So the old maroon ones are bad either.

the 7000 has a rear end similar to a 200 with a 3 speed powershift and manual trans a 7010 has a stronger drive line over all a 6 speed ps. with a hi-low range or a powerdirector witch is a 5 speed with hi low and a shift on the go in each gear for 20 speeds both are durable. both have the same looking sheetmetal. the 8010 is the same basic tractor as the 7010 but as stated a way better cab and you could get mfwd. they all have their problems and they are getting old so get as new as you can

An 8010 has a much better cab and is much quieter than a 7000 series both inside and out.
