BARNEY TAYLOR HAS A GOOD CAMSHAFT BUT ITS NOT HIGH LIFT . HIGH LIFT IS HARD TO ACOMPLISH BECAUSE THERS ARING AROUND THE LIFTER NOT ALLOWING IT TO GO UP INTO THE LIFTER BORE. BARNEYS CAM WILL ALLOW YOU TO RUN HIGHER RPMS AND IT WILL LUG WELL AT LOWER RPMS THAN STOCK.I PULLED TWICE AT INDIAN RIDGE IN 3500LBS LEFT AT 5500 RPM PULLED ENGINE DOWN TO 4800 IN THIRD GEAR 15.5 38 TIRES .WON BOTH TIMES SO I THINK THERE WORTH WHILE

barney taylor has a good camshaft . its not high lift. high lift is hard to do because theres a ring on the bottom of the lifter keeping it from going up into the lifter bore. i guess a person could turn his lifters down. i run barneys it will turn 5500 rs . pulled 3500 lbs twiced last year left the line at 5500 engine ran at 4800 in third with 15.5 38s. won both times at indian ridge.
