I have a DB 1210 with ~6000 hours. When hooked to 3 point backhoe, the hydraulics seem weak, especially after running for a few minutes. I changed hydraulic fluid and filters not long ago. Would the pump be wore out, or might the relief valve be sticking or leaking by? Any ideas on how to check? I can rig up a high pressure gauge to one of the outlets to check pressure. (I did this a couple years ago when I was having problems with a logsplitter, had 2000 lbs pressure then) This problem seems to have happened suddenly, I would think a pump would get weak more slowly.

Also noticed when planting, the 3 point hitch arms sometimes jump a bit (nothing attached to them) when the remote cylinder is activated.

Thanks for any ideas.

Fred

Have you cleaned the bypass valve?

What fluid did you use when you changed it.
