Is there a pick line going into the tank to feed the fuel pump? or is it done with pressure?

Are you having a problem with the injector pump losing it's prime after sitting a while. This is rather common when the seal at the pump input shaft gets worn enough to allow air to be drawn in at that point as the weight of the fuel in the supply line pulls it back toward the tank(s). This can usually be prevented by keeping the tank(s) filled when the tractor is not in use, but sooner or later the worn seal will start letting fuel into the crankcase.

I have the same problem with a 1594. Pump loses its prime. Problem is less when tank is kept full. How do i fix it? Where exactly is this seal? What do I need to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Well worked again on the tractor...can"t get the fuel pump to pump up and primed. Put on a new pump about 6 months ago. So took it off and it pumps up hareder off than on...don"t make any sense to me. Tried putting the old pump on and still not getting any fuel but can suck fuel out of the tank with the line off and through the filter...so do I need another fuel pump or what????
