My dad and I are considering puttinga cab on our 1030 CK. Doe that require fender changing or removal? Anyone know of one that is available??

Thanks

I noted one thing the prior respondents failed to mention. One brand of aftermarket cab requires row crop fenders because it sits right on top of them and is cut on the sides to inter- lock with them. My dad and I had a 930 with western fenders and had to locate row crop fenders when we added a cab back in 1975. Luckily, I knew of a dealer who had a pair of 830 fenders I was able to make work by adding a couple of pieces of sheet metal.

Whats the difference between a 930 and 1030 CK cab? I have a Cab off a 1966 Case 930 CK with square fenders. Does anyone know if these will interchange or did the 1030 have a wider platform.

If you are going to put on a factory cab the origanal fenders will have to be taken off, and that is basically it. A number of after market cabs were available and alot of those sat on or inside of the fenders. We have an Ansel cab that came off of a 1030 CK that sat on top of the fenders. It was real easy to take off. If you are interested in thos cab let me know we aren't using it. Good luck! Brian

I am intersted in your cab. My mom and I are thinking of getting one for dear old dad for Christmas. We figure it is time he had a little protection against the Wisconsin cold ( he's not quite as young as he used to be.

What would you want for the cab? Did you like it when it was on? Does it have an entry door on each side? Where are you located ( I am in southern Indiana an mom/dad live in southeast Wis )

Sorry for all the qustions. I appreciate your response.

Thanks

Malmo, The cab we have does have a door on each side however the doors are missing as is the side and rear glass, the front window and lower glass are good. It wouldn't take much to make new door frames, just square tubing. The cab structure is in very good shape. I guess if you are interested let me know, send me your email and I'll send you some pics of when it was on. Does $100.00 sound fair? I'm in SW PA just SW of Pittsburgh. Thanks!! Brian

Original equipment cabs=fenders off. After market cab=fenders on. Fuel tank is no problem with either cab design.

on the 1030 the cab has built in fenders, you will need to remove the original fenders and possibly change the fuel tank if I remember correctly
