With the lift handle in 'raise' position and the tractor running in neutral, SLIGHTLY loosen or 'crack' the caps (VTA2665) and VT3036 ONE AT A TIME until you get some fluid leakage. This should bleed the pump. I start with the VT3036 caps since that's usually enough. If not, go back and start with the VTA2665 plugs and finish with the VT3036. Good Luck!

Are you sure you got all the air bled out of the the system? With the tractor running, open up the wing nut on the pump bleeder valve and move the control lever to the up position. If you don't get a good stream of oil squirting out, there is still air in the system.
