511B Lineage Question

I looked at three Case tractors at an auction open house last weekend. They had advertised an 830, a 400, and a “500”; each with narrow front and gas engines. It turns out the “500” is a 511B dating from 1958. Do I understand that the 511B was derived from the older 300? Is the 511B also essentially what later became the 530? I fondly remember a 530 on our farm when I was young and wonder how the 511B compares in engine and horsepower. Our 530 was lower to the ground but was a wide-front utility style and this 511B is of course a rowcrop. I have a book which, if I am reading it correctly, states that the 300 was redesigned into the 200B, 300B, 400B, 500B, and 600B when they were squared off on the hood and then in the 60’s the 500B became the 530 and the 600B became the 630. Is this correct? Did each of these have the same basic engine?

These three tractors go at auction this Saturday. They are all well-used and need new rubber, paint, and misc. trim pieces at a minimum. Now if only I had a stack of cash needing a new home. I just bought a 411 in August and frankly have a hard time justifying that purchase, let alone any more! The same auction also has a few Case implements, including a pull plow and a mounted sickle bar mower.
