I'm guessing that there are less than 100 SP-12 Case combines still left yet in the U.S. and Canada.5020 guy from Montana over on the combine forum owns a SP-12 and says there are over 100 of them left yet.A steak dinner could be riding on this if my friendly wager is accepted.

If you know of a SP-12 Case combine we need the serial number,a picture, and the exact or general location if at all possible. So everyone try and help prove me wrong by adding a combine to the registry.Thanks.This could be alot of fun and will maybe help save a few more old combines.

Ted's correct, we've got close to 10 unloading tubes, plus tons & tons of combine parts. New sieves, new complete strawracks.. & the list goes on.

Hey! If there are that many SP-12's John Saeli has about 10 NOS unloading augers for them. He bought out a dealer.

I had an SP-12 bought from an estate in Texas, but the hauling got so high I just let it sit. it may still be there. If anyone is interested they can contact me. fmi@online.com.kh

I know of two that are dirictly across the road from my house. They are on the same farm that I got my LA from. One is junk as it appears like it was involved in a roll over. The other one is compleate other then the engine which I have. The owner let me have the engine when he gave me the LA. If someone would want the combines I'm pretty confident that you could have them for hauling them away. Or maybe for a small fee. At one point I had the serial #s written down off both of them but I'f I cant find that I could easily run over their sometime this week and get them. The combines are in southeast WA near Pasco.

Combinekid, Last night I searched the archives on here and found the serial number of one of those combines by you.It was #5668512.If you could get the serial number of the other SP-12 by you and possibly some pictures it would be much appreciated.Thanks.

I figured that there might be some SP-12 Cases in the Oregon,Washington,Idaho area.

We were thru your area in July 2001.Spent the night at Walla Walla and ate breakfast in the Tri Cities while on our way to Vancouver,B.C.One of my good friends that I currently work with spent 25 years in your area working at the Hanford nuculear site.

yep I belive I could run over cross the road some time this week and get that other serial # for you. I could also even take some pics. If you know anybody intested in the engine from the combine, like I said I have it and would be intrested in selling it. I have pics of it all ready on the computer so let me know if intersted. I know one combine is spike tooth and the other is a rasp bar cyl. One has like about a 8 or 10 foot head and the other one is like a 13 14 or something like that. The one thats been rolled was obvously used for parts for the other one as its missing several things. Anyways I'll try and get those numbers and a few pics.

I'd be interested in the engine as I have an early (not 3 speed though) D I'd like to restore. You can call me at (406) 454-8748. I'm not so far away that I couldn't come pick it up.

Hey I got those serial #s and a few pics for you. The good (if you want to call it that) combine number is SP12 5668512. The parts machine does not say sp 12 sp 9 or any model designation on its serial tag. All it has is a serial number which is a follows 5666400. Both machines are on a piece of ground across the road from my house. The owner told me that they were there (along with a bunch of other old iron and junk when he bought the place. Just last year he obtained water for the ground so he cleared the sagebrush, leveled sand knobs, installed a center pivot meaning much of the stuff was in the way. He hauled most all of it off to the scrap except for the big stuff. And the LA which he gave to me. The combines got drug to the edge of the field. I had thought that the header for the parts combine was still there but its gone, so it must have went to the scrap. If you would like more info and the pics drop me an e-mail and I'll send them to you. Good luck on your combine huntin!

I know of one in central Texas that belongs to a dealer's estate. It is on private prortery so it would require getting permission to get the SN. Itis close enough to the road to get a picture, if that would help.
