Can anyone tell me why the pulley on my 200 hits the timing gear cover when I tighten down the pulley. We have all of the parts in according to the parts book. But when we tighten it down it hits hard enough to lock the starter. Thanks

Sure sounds as if you don't have something in there that should be. Like a thrust washer.Or shims ,or thrust plate.End play of crank should br .003 to .005

I have an IT manual that I can scan the page in the computer and email you if you need it.
